Transferring domains to Digital Crocus

The best way to transfer a domain to us is to transfer the domain to our registrar. You still retain ownership and control of the domain. For a .com/.net/.org this involves:

1. unlock the domain from the current registrar's control panel
2. obtain the auth code, usually by requesting it by email through their control panel
3. send the domain name and auth code to us at support@digital-crocus.com
4. pay an invoice with us for £6.99 and as soon as it's paid we start the transfer

For a .uk domain it is a little simpler:

1. set the IPS tag to ENOM with their control panel
2. send the domain name to us at support@digital-crocus.com
3. pay an invoice with us for £6.99 and as soon as it's paid we start the transfer

In both cases the £6.99 goes towards extra time on the domain expiration date - for .com/.net/.org it's one year, with .uk it's two years.

We are experienced handling all types of transfers and can even assist further if necessary, in cases where the losing registrar does not co-operate. We can also offer registrar-specific hints on how to speed up the transfer once it's started - often it is possible to speed up the transfer from the usual 5 working days to less than two hours.
